About Linda Joy Kattwinkel: Linda Joy Kattwinkel is a painter and former graphic artist as well as an attorney and mediator for the arts community.  She has a B.F.A. in communication arts from Virginia Commonwealth University and a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law. As a member of the firm Owen, Wickersham & Erickson in San Francisco, she represents clients in   intellectual property and arts law issues such as copyright and   trademark protection, infringement, licensing, and gallery   contracts.  She is the author of Legalities, an online column for the  Northern Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild.
